In the world Pinot Grigio is a very common grape variety but not in Abruzzo. Antonio decided to cultivate it and the result has been excellent thanks to the perfect combination of weather and soil.
The Pinot Grigio cultivated in our areas is different from that produced in the northern Italy, because the terroir is different: more or less tasty, it depends on the consumer’s tastes!

Food and wine pairing:

Best if served at 12°C with aperitif, seafood and white meats.

Tasting notes:

Yellow color, fruity aroma with notes of citrus and white flowers. Light-bodied and delicate.

Winemaker’s notes:

The grapes were hand-picked on the first week of September. After the destemming, the grapes are pressed and the must is soon brought to 12 °C temperature to avoid uncontrolled fermentation. Once the must has arrived to the steel tanks, fermentation is activated using a unique ferment which gives to our wine its own personality. Refinement in steel tanks under controlled temperatures and without oxygen for 3 months and then a short period in bottle.
